aboutGolf's proprietary 3-dimensional vision system.
Machine vision, also known as high speed photography, is scientifically
the highest standard in ball and club tracking. Until now,
only the major OEMs had access to 3D vision, and at a stratotospheric
cost. 3Trak changes all of that.
The basic system applies three ultra-powerful
"smart" cameras designed by aboutGolf. Each
camera contains three state-of-the-art processing cores
and applies an amazing proprietary technique, "frame
apportionment", to process nearly 2000 frames per
second virtually instantaneously.
The same scientists that have perfected
vision for applications, such as those that validate thousands
of operations on tiny microprocessor boards, have partnered
with aboutGolf Labs to produce 3Trak.
